Aftermath of the Earthquake
- On 6 February 2023 two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.8 & 7.5 occurred.
- After the earthquakes, 21,153 aftershocks occurred.
- According to the latest information, more than 50,000 citizens lost their lives.
- There are almost 2 million people still homeless
- At least 13.5 million people and 4 million buildings were affected
We are Working to Provide Shelter and Supplies for up to 800,000 People
Akerbloms Inc., with partners, will provide shelter and supplies for 800,000 people. We are working directly with Knewitt, TDS, & Forest River to coordinate our rescue efforts.
